Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort
…. and what a sanctuary this Resort truly is! If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this idyllic Resort is a 30 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport.
It has so much to offer Conference groups by way of meeting rooms (with a Ballroom capacity up to 300 banquet size; 500 theatre), a myriad of team building options, fine dining and casual restaurant choices, swimming pools and a lagoon.
On a recent trip to the Resort we learnt about their ‘Insider Collection’a new concept drawing on the knowledge and expertise of the local businesses to the property. We had the opportunity to tee off with golf pro Michael Jones at one of the Hotel’s internationally renowned championship golf courses. We took a jet boat ride down to McLarens Landing for an awesome breakfast followed by a Segway Ride and culminating in a helicopter ride around the Gold Coast and back to the Resort.
A highlight of our visit was cocktails with Australian Gold Medal winners Steven Bradbury and Natalie Cook, who inspired us with their gold medal winning stories, before we were whisked off to dinner at Dreamworld.
